Cleaning the loft

Cleaning the loft... an activity not very much loved by pigeon fanciers. However, it is something we cannot overlook if we want healthy pigeons, and it must be done regularly. And since we're getting to work, we should know that for maximum efficiency, a few important steps must be followed, which we list below:

Step 1: Scrape off the dirt

Start from the top and then move to the bottom, letting all the dirt fall to the floor.

Step 2: Remove dirt from the floor

If you did step 1 correctly, there will already be a lot of dirt on the floor. It's best to take a brush and sweep it together. After that, you can remove it with a shovel.

Step 3: Vacuuming

It's important to remove as much dust as possible. An industrial vacuum cleaner is ideal for this.

Step 4: The burner

Once vacuuming is complete, it's time to go through the loft with the burner. It's important to cover every square centimeter. This step is necessary to kill all parasites!

Step 5: Disinfection

This is the penultimate step in cleaning the loft. For this, we can use the following products: Avibac Stabilizer, Virkon S, Desinfektion Pro. After the cleaning process, we spray the entire coop.

Step 6: Individual cleaning of accessories

All accessories in the coop must also be cleaned or washed individually.

By cleaning them thoroughly, you ensure that everything is immaculate again.
