RP VACC – Injectable emulsion for pigeons. White emulsion with easily redispersible sediment upon shaking.
• Indications:
For active immunization of pigeons from 4 weeks of age:
- reduces the frequency and severity of clinical signs, pathological lesions, and viral shedding caused by group A avian rotavirus, genotype G18P[17] (PiRV),
- reduces mortality, frequency, and severity of clinical signs caused by paramyxovirus type 1 (PMV1).
Onset of immunity: 2 weeks after completion of the primary vaccination course. Duration of immunity: 8 months (PiRV) / 9 months (PMV1) after completion of the primary vaccination course (demonstrated by challenge).
• Contraindications: None
Route and method of administration: Dose of 0.3 ml.
Administer intramuscularly into the thigh muscle.
First dose: from 4 weeks of age.
Second dose: 3 weeks later. Revaccination:
Administer one dose at most one year after the last injection.
If the infectious pressure of PiRV and/or PMV1 in the flock is high, revaccination is recommended at an interval of 8-9 months after the last injection.
Recommendations for proper administration: When administering the vaccine, it is recommended to insert the needle at an acute angle to the muscle and not perpendicular to the administration site.
Shake the vial before and during use. Before use, the vaccine should be allowed to reach room temperature.
Store in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C).
Vaccinate only healthy animals!
