Pharmavac PHA – injectable emulsion for pigeons
Indications: For immunization of pigeons from 4 weeks of age:
- for reduction of mortality/frequency and severity of clinical signs caused by paramyxovirus type 1 (PMV1)
- to reduce the severity of clinical signs, macroscopic lesions and virus shedding caused by pigeon herpesvirus (PHV1)
- to reduce the severity of clinical signs and macroscopic lesions caused by adenovirus, namely type 7/E, 2/D, 3/D and 4/C belonging to subgroup I
Contraindications: None
Adverse effects:
Swelling up to 1.0 cm in diameter may frequently occur at the injection site, which will gradually disappear within 9 days.
The frequency of adverse effects is defined by the following expressions:
- very common (more than 1 case in 10 treated animals)
- common (more than 1 case, but less than 10 cases in 100 treated animals)
- uncommon (more than 1 case, but less than 10 cases in 1000 treated animals)
- rare (more than 1 case, but less than 10 cases in 10000 treated animals)
- very rare (less than 1 case in 10000 treated animals, including isolated cases)

Target species: Pigeons
Dosage for each species, route and method of administration:
One dose: 0.3ml
Administer subcutaneously in the dorsal neck region, proximal to the tail region, starting from 4 weeks of age.
