A disease that occurs especially in young pigeons.
Differential diagnoses (clinical pictures that may partially overlap) include: hexamitiasis, PMV (paramyxo) and streptococcal infections, or combinations of these diseases.
Highly contagious from April to August. Difficult to diagnose in the laboratory, but easy to diagnose clinically.
Adeno-coli symptoms:
- Lack of response
- Loss of appetite
- Weight loss
- Vomiting
- Watery or greenish watery droppings
- Ultimately, death
